Splitters Farm is a 160 acre tranquil bush retreat and working cattle farm, just minutes from Bundaberg and four hours drive north of Brisbane. Bordered by Splitters Creek, a fresh water nature reserve that feeds into Bundaberg's beautiful Burnett River, Splitters Farm offers a unique farm stay experience.Home to Australian wildlife and over 400 rescue animals, guests enjoy farm life feeding and photographing animals on self or guided farm tours, farm chores, damper making, kayaking and swimming in Splitters Creek. The Farm first started as a safe haven and sanctuary for rescued farm animals who had been neglected, abused or victims of their owners change of circumstances. Most have arrived at the farm as a result of the drought. In addition to its rescued barnyard animals, is also home to native Australian animals including wallabies, platypus, barramundi, prehistoric lung fish and boasts over 150 documented species of Australian bird life.
Splitters Farm aims to provide a range of camping and glamping options with fantastic views of the creek and dam. Experience premium luxury in one of the 2 bedroom Deluxe Glamping Safari Tents, complete with cooking and bathroom facilities or create your own camping adventure with or without the creature comforts in a Vintage Glamper Van or camp site with fire pit and use of the camp kitchen.
Combine as a bush base to explore the reef and islands of Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot and tasting the famous local produce of the Bundaberg region.
FACILITIES FOR CAMPERS
Amenities Blocks - male and female blocks with plenty of hot water, disabled facilities and a family bathroom for those with young children for security and privacy.
Camp Kitchen - offers campers access to a fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine for shared use (bring your own cooking equipment). Barbecue and seating facilities are disability friendly with wheelchair access.
Guest Laundry - with coin-operated washing machines and dryers plus an ironing centre is available for overnight visitors.
Barbecues - day trippers and guests are welcome to use the barbecue and park facilities (fees apply to day trippers).

Self-Guided Farm Entry - get up close and personal with over 360 beautiful rescue animals as you wander at your own pace from paddock to paddock. Includes food for animals. Available daily 10am | 11am | 12pm | 1pm. Bookings are essential.
Guided Farm Tour - this one hour guided tour is a photographers dream as you visit the rescue animals, taste honey, collect eggs and learn about the history of Splitters Farm and its animals. Available Saturday & Sunday 10:30am or by request. Bookings are essential.
Go Kart Hire - put your pedal to the metal and explore the park by go-kart. Available daily - book at the main office.
Cinema Under the Stars - bring your own camp chair or rug and experience an outdoor cinema. Available on Saturdays nights (& Wednesday nights during school holidays) for guests and their children. Weather depending and times vary depending on sunset.
Barra Feeding - each afternoon at 5pm, head to the dam to feed the barramundi & silver perch. Try your luck with a rod & lure to catch-n-release one as well.
Kayak, Stand-Up Paddle Board, Canoe Hire - cruise the fresh waterway on a SUP, one or two person kayak or three person canoe. Available 9am to 5pm daily.
Paddle Boat Hire - explore the dam by paddle boat and be sure to bring your muscles as these are arm powered!
Catch-n-Release Fishing - available year round off the bank of Splitters Creek for bass and barramundi, there's also a chance of catching a local eel or sleepy cod.
Nature Walks - take time out from life itself and explore the wildlife, billabongs, creek and over 100 acres of native Australian bush.
Creek Swimming - available all year round during day light hours (excluding heavy rain causing the creek to run).
EAT
Splitters Farm provides visitors with a number of edible options to enjoy the local produce. If you prefer, drive eight minutes into Bundaberg for a large range of cafes and restaurants.
Barista Van - available during school holidays and weekends between 9am and 12noon, the Barista Van offers a range of coffees, hot and cold drinks and ice cream.
Picnic Hampers - pre-order a delicious picnic hamper with locally made delicacies and a variety of options to suit all dietary requirements. These picnic hampers must be ordered at least 24 hours prior and are available 7 days a week for guests and day trippers.
Wood Fired Pizzas - each Friday night the wood fire pizza oven is lit to crank out delicious home made pizzas for guests. Orders to be taken at check in or by 3pm. Vegan / gluten free / lactose free dietary needs are catered for on request. Based on demand and depends on numbers staying onsite. Additional nights are added during school holidays.
Damper Making - most Friday nights campers and their children are taught how to make damper ‘Twisties’. This is the perfect ‘meet and greet’ opportunity for guests to get to know each other and the owners. Please note that this activity is weather pending and is based on demand, depending on numbers staying onsite. Additional nights are added during school holidays.
Camp Kitchen - fully equipped with commercial electric barbecues, oven, stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing-up facilities make it easy for campers to be self-sufficient during their stay.
The Grazing Station & Sunset Deck - available for exclusive hire for events, wedding parties and corporate get togethers. The space includes a bar, fridges and freezers, deep fryer, commercial electric oven, woodfirest pizza. and full commercial kitchen

Vintage Glamper Van - stay in a vintage van for 2 people with water / power & sullage, queen bed, linen, kitchenette & dining area, shared amenities and camp kitchen access. Includes continental breakfast and fresh bread daily self-guided farm access, private firepit with firewood.
Powered Campsites - book a powered grass campsite suitable for an RV, caravan, tent or camper trailer per site with shared amenities, access to laundry room, family bathroom and camp kitchen. Includes self-guided farm access.
