Like Nowhere Else - The only resort located on a 1,013-hectare National Park and literally on the Great Barrier Reef, Lizard Island offers seclusion and natural privacy that you will cherish. With only 40 rooms and villas and 24 private beaches, escape to your own private beach for a day exploring the reef, taking in the incredible nature around you and all while never seeing another person.

Itinerary

Day 1
Fly into Cairns Airport, upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation in Cairns. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2
After breakfast, transfer to Skyrail and enjoy a day to the rainforest to explore Australia's World Heritage listed tropical Rainforest canopy and deep into the forest. Enjoy Ranger guided boardwalk tours, discover stories provided with the audio guide app and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre, lookouts and historical displays before reaching Kuranda Village. Rainforestation is a multi-faceted attraction including ‘cruises' through forest waterways on a World War II amphibious army duck, traditional performances by the Pamagirri dance troupe, including boomerang and spear throwing, tropical fruit orchards and some of Australia's favourite animals. Finally, jump aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway, built over 100 years ago and wind through the tropical mountain ranges between Cairns and Kuranda. Your trip includes photo stops at Barron Falls.

Day 3
After breakfast, transfer to Cairns Domestic Airport follow with One Way East Air Shared Scenic Air Transfer to Lizard Island. Your Great Barrier Reef Island Escape starts as soon as you arrive the Lizard Island.

Day 4-5

In addition to your daily dining which is included in your nightly rate, there are several other culinary experiences to enjoy. Private Beach Excursions: Select your own refreshments pack the night before your planned excursion and the following day, take a private dinghy and motor to a beach of your choice - or have one of our Marine team drop you off and return later to collect you.

Explore Reef & Land: Guided and self-guided activities include snorkelling, diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, visits to the Lizard Island Research Station, tennis under night lights, morning yoga on the beach

Day 6
Today, farewell to the beautiful Lizard Island. A One Way East Air Shared Scenic Air Transfer to Cairns Domestic Airporr followed with your flight back home from Cairns.

Luggage limit on air transfer flights to Lizard Island return are restricted to a total of 20kg per person including one small carry-piece of hand luggage not exceeding 4kg. Price includes any stated bonus nights, upgrades & package savings, if applicable. All passports, visas, travel permits, and vaccinations are the responsibility of the travelling passenger to secure prior to travel. Airfares are capacity controlled and are subject to change at any time without notice, based in economy class from Sydney and are subject to the carriers' flight schedules and conditions. Seasonal and flight routing surcharges may apply. Airfares are based on the lowest available fare, which comes with strict conditions i.e., non-refundable, or non-changeable.
